In case you were curious, yes I did get this idea from Pinterest. Pinterest is my life.
In my first twine ball making experiment, I underestimated my twine/yarn need. So my twine balls are a little sparse. Since each ball costs approximately $0.87, I'm not losing any sleep over it.
Pretty sweet, eh?
I watered down some ModPodge (is that even what its called?), soaked a giant continuous string of yarn in the stuff, then wrapped it all willy-nilly around the balloon. I may have added a bit too much water, which makes the drying time a bit longer. I let them dry over night, then let Wilberforce pop the balloons.
He likes helping with the crafts. For about two minutes, then he deserts me to play his video games.Does anyone else have a weird husband? Or am I the only one with a "special" spouse?
He's such a nut. That's probably why we get along so well.
Speaking of Wilberforce, he's working on a new career. Barista. Or is is baristo? What do you call a male coffee shop worker? I dunno.
This is the delicious cup-o-joe Wilberforce made the other day. I don't even like coffee and I found it quite tasty.
He picked up this espresso maker thingy at Target last week. I didn't even know there was such a thing.
He made his espresso from coffee beans (I think?), steamed some almond milk, and added a bit of sugar free caramel syrup.
He poured it all together, stirred it up a bit, then drank it.
See that steam? That means it's waaaaay too hot for me to drink. I need kid-temperature drinks. I usually get a sip of the last quarter of the cup, when it's finally cooled off...room temperature-ish.
He liked his drink. He needs to name it.
The Wilbur Carmalmond Latte.
Haha, my husband is like you. He waits for his coffee/tea/hot chocolate to get room temperature before he drinks it. I think it's gross! Haha! I like mine HOT... like burn your tongue hot. Coffee must go from coffee pot into mug directly into microwave to heat it up a bit more :)
