Chicago - The Bean and Navy Pier

Day Numero Two.  We walked.

This is The Bean.  I'm sure it has another name - I think it's something like Cloud Gate or some other nonsense.  I call it the bean because it looks like a bean.

I'm no frills like that.
I bet that every person in the world that has seen the bean has taken a picture of themselves in the bean's reflection.  We were no different.
Sometimes Wilberforce has to tear my camera out of my hands.  I don't like it.
There isn't a lot to say about the Bean, obviously.
We hung out at Millennium Park.  Beautimous.
 Wilberforce liked all the buildings.
 I liked the trees.
Photoshoot!  This place was beautiful and was a couple hundred feet from a sand beach on Lake Michigan.  Chicago is such a strange place, that way.
We thought maybe we had seen this tree covered walk in a movie somewhere?  Not sure...
I bought that shirt for Willm - he says he likes it, but maybe just because I bought it for him?
I've been seeing navy stripes all over Pinterest, so while on Michigan Ave I was on a mission to find navy stripes.  I found some at Zara - shopping success!
 I love fall leaves.
We walked along Lake Michigan for a while to the John Hancock building.  The lake shore is pretty awesome.  And ps...the water of Lake Michigan really is that blue.  Like, Fiji blue.  Weird.

Of course, we had to visit Navy Pier.
The place wasn't too busy on a Wednesday morning during the off-season.  Perfect.
 Look at that water!
We rode the ferris wheel.  It's ginormous.  Seriously.
Back in the day, the ferris wheel was three times it's current size.  Each of the carts held 60 people.  Not kidding.

William was scared of how high we were in the ferris wheel.  He cried.
I laughed at William while he cried.
 He stopped crying.
Awesome views of the city at the top!
I like Chicago.  I shall go back.

Might even bring Wilberforce with me.
