One Eyeball?

My little Logie monster is in a video I took around Christmas last year - he's playing in the curtains of Mom and Dad's living room, peeking at me with one eye.  I tell him to show me his one eyeball and he gets confused..."one eyeball??".  It's funny.  You'd have to see it to get it, I suppose.

Moving on...

We are in the middle of winter storm #2 for the week.  Our power has already gone out for an hour once, so this post may or may not be...posted.

I was going to post about the beautiful rainbow cake I made last weekend.
Pretty awesome, eh?

But I'm not sure I have enough time to post pictures, find blog links, and all that jazz before the power goes out again.  So rainbow cake will have to wait for another day.

Yes, it was delicious.  If you were wondering.

So on to something a little less time-consuming.  I'm debating the idea of colored contacts.  I had green contacts in high school - I looked like a lizard woman with bright green eyeballs.  Creepy.  I've always wanted brown eyes, so I tried some brown contacts the other day at the eye doctor:
They were...still creepy.  Not natural.  Bummer.

Purple:
Less noticeable, but still strange.

Honey:
I've just finished feeding.  Twilight, anyone?

Pure Hazel:
About as close to normal as I think I might be able to get.  I like them.  My facial expression?  Not so much.

Green:
Like I said, green.

After a bit of debate, I finally decided on a pair.  White:
 Yeah, buddy!

Hope you had a Happy Halloween!
