I've discovered the art of blog surfing. I've found that if you can find one blog you really like, it's a safe bet that stalking their blog list will find you more awesome blogs!
I've also discovered that there are a bazillion girls out there that are just like me, but not. In the past few days of browsing blogs, I've found many twenty-something girls who are happily married, no kids, love photography, home improvement projects, and crafty crap. I wonder if they, too, are sitting on their couches after a long weekend at work, posting on their blogs and dreaming of their upcoming vacation?? No?
A new one that I found is www.kevinandamanda.com. I think if I can get my housework done tomorrow morning, I might try a little craft project...this cool earring holder thingy. Either that or I start slapping some paint on a wall...

Work was wonderful this weekend. Only one crazy customer in two whole shifts! She was so crazy I couldn't even bring myself to be upset about the whole situation...it's hard to be mad at people who should be heavily medicated, ya know?
Sometimes working around the elderly so much is tough. It's hard to deal with having a sweet little old lady start to cry, grab your hand and tell you she prays every day for the Lord to call her home because she feels like a burden.
But sometimes it's nice to pry a smile out of the grouchy old man who likes to pick fights with everyone because he's old and that's just the way he is.
