Rodeo!!!

I lived on an Iowa farm for 20 years and I lived in Wyoming for 4 years and I have never owned a pair of cowboy boots. Until now.
 Aren't they beautiful!!
They're made of baby alligator!  Not just alligator, but baby alligator.  I'm so cruel.
 I love the blue :)
These are my boots.  There are many like them, but these are mine.

An old friend from Iowa is staying out here in Colorado for the month for med school, so we decided to head to the National Western Stock Show to do some rodeo-ing.

But before we could rodeo, we had to shop.  The National Western Stock Show Expo Center is awe-some!
I got some boots, in case you already forgot.

My friend got an awesome belt buckle and belt, but I forgot to take pics of it - so sorry.  After our western shopping spree, we found our seats at the rodeo.  I brought my long lens to shoot rodeo photos, which was entirely too long to shoot any pics of my friend and I.  Whoops.

The rodeo had everything.  It had cowgirls wearing patriotic lights.
 It had cowgirls with flags.
It had bucking broncos.

It had bucking bulls, steer wrestling, barrel racing, and bunches of other stuff.  I was too entertained to remember I had my camera though. Rodeos are saaawheeeet!

My friend had some friends that were selling cattle at the stock show, so we stopped by their cattle pen.  I took the opportunity to take a very meaningful photo.
Cow Butts.

The end. Yee-haw!!!
