Adventures in Bookshelf Building

I am happy to announce I have almost completed one bookshelf.  I have to stain and paint it, and it will be done! I am less happy to announce that I have to completely rebuild the frame for the other bookshelf.  It's lopsided.  Bummer.

But anyways, here is my almost finished bookshelf.

 I need to maneuver it so the bottom legs are closer to the wall; then my bottom shelves will be lined up with the wall as well.  I have some furniture pads that I think I'll attach to the top of the legs to protect the wall from scuffs after I get it painted - don't want scuffs on my nice fresh walls!

I think it'll look pretty neato once I get the other built and painted and filled with my crap. I'm excited about my hanging file folders I bought at the Container Store a while ago.

They're way cool looking and they keep all my crapola organized!  I like being organized - having an organized office is like going to bed in a nicely made bed...ahhhhhh. :)
