It's pretty awesome to have such an amazing venue within an hour from home. We've been to concerts here twice now, and each time the artists performing seem almost more excited to be there than what the audience is! It really is a crazy experience.
We tailgated in Wilberforce's truck before the concert with some friends and family of friends.
Wilberforce looks like he jumped off a tractor to come to the concert. Isn't he farmer-fantastic? I think Dad is rubbing off on him. He needs a farm.
Wilberforce bought tickets for the Eric Church concert for me for my birthday - and he grabbed a couple extra for friends. I brought the ladies. And yes, Wilberforce was stuck with us the whole day.
We ate at Rock Bottom on our way down to the show. Carb loading. Calories didn't count, we decided collectively.
The concert was awesome. Unseasonable cold, but awesome.
I had hand warmers in my pockets, in my boots, and was wearing three shirts, one fleece, one snowboarding layer, and a winter snowboarding coat. And I was still cold, because I am a weenie.
Wilberforce put up with a lot of "I'm freezing" whining from his wonderful wife.
That's Ship Rock behind us - part of the natural amphitheater acoustics that Red Rocks is famous for.
So there are some pictures for the family. The kiddos at a concert. Not a single recipe to be found in this post. Shocker!
