In the past year and some months, I've taken a lot of pictures. Like. A lot.
While taking down our Christmas tree and decorations, I realized the pictures in the frames by the bar were ooooold. So I sent some pictures to Walmart.com to be printed, picked them up, and revamped the picture wall.
My favorite pictures are always pictures of the monsters and nuggets. I love them.
I like my new pictures. And I can see them from my new little birthday chair. What a happy place, my living room.
Here's a little story that I don't think I've shared here yet. Once upon a time, our master bath shower had a problem with keeping water inside the shower rather than dripping from the dining room ceiling.
Sad.
After six months and a couple visits from plumbers, we had the ceiling ripped up to find the problem. We then fixed the leaking problem.
However, I am a master procrastinator, and two years later, we still have the holes in the ceiling.
Oddly enough, no one ever notices the gigantic gaping holes...until I point them out. Which I inevitably do, because I like to point out my own flaws and laugh at them. Dining room ceiling hole = flaw.
We're hosting a baby shower in two weeks. I should fix those holes. I'll probably hide them with tissue paper balls instead.
Meh.
