Riviera Verde

That's Spanish, by the way.  Proper Spanish?  Probably not.

Wilberforce and I spent the last few days in Wyoming, visiting his family.  He drove the five hours Monday morning, while I took a toy plane up after work Monday night.

Not kidding.  There were visible propellers on my plane.  Maybe fourteen other passengers.  I sat in the front row - if I had fallen out of my seat I would have either hit my head on the cock pit door, crashed into the exit door, or ended up sitting on the flight attendant's lap.

They didn't even stock alcohol for the in-flight drinks.  In the words of Loogie - "What the heck?"

I arrived in Wyoming after 11 pm.  Joshypants and Wilberforce were there to pick me up.  We made it a late night and finally got to sleep around 2 am.  I woke up to this:
This is T - Wilberforce's nephew.  He's a crazy monster.
We went out for breakfast.  T ordered a coffee.  He's six.  We let him.
We took him bowling.  Joshypants and Wilberforce are decent bowlers.  I am not.  T beat me by 12 pins, and yes, I was trying.

After bowling, we took Joshypants to the newspaper office to see his mom and sister before going home.  A photoshoot commenced.
The sun was very bright.  Obviously.

We spent the evening at Will's sister's house.
T and his dad played guitar.
 He's a miniature rock star.
He put on a Christmas concert.  We cheered.
We went outside for more pictures.  I like people to be freezing while we're shooting.
As we were taking this picture, T says "Manda, you have a big smile! It's poking me in the face".  How hilarious is that?  See how squished his face is?  I love the crap little kids say.
I toned it down so it wasn't poking T in the face anymore.
This is a little trick Dad used to do to us.  Lock the elbows.  It's a lot harder on the lifter, rather than the liftee.  Huh, no wonder no one does this to me anymore.

This morning we went to breakfast with Wilberforce's parents.
 And took more freezing pictures.
I thought it was warm enough to ditch the coat idea today.  The sun went under while we were at breakfast, so picture time was, um, less warm than I liked.

Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!
