I had plans to head to Denver to do some portrait images of a friend of a friend, but woke up to ice on the windows and falling/blowing snow. I don't mind driving in crappy road conditions, but I mind that some of these Colorado-ans don't seem to know how to drive in crappy road conditions. So I'd rather stay home. My friend was even less willing to drive to Denver with the weather being un-good, so I didn't even have to feel guilty!
Will and I went to Johnson's Corner for lunch.
Johnson's Corner is famous. World Famous.
Johnson's Corner has been in a movie! Do I know which one? Of course not, but that's beside the point. BUT, the movie is not the reason Johnson's Corner is world famous.
This is.
This is a Johnson's Corner cinnamon roll. And that, my friends, is a dinner plate. Holy cinnamon roll. This particular gargantuan mass of yumminess is February's flavor of the month: strawberry with cream cheese frosting. In honor of the best holiday ever, I would suppose.
I ate a third of this monster, and I will be seeing my doctor tomorrow about starting Lipitor.
William couldn't decide between the hot beef sandwich and something else on the menu, so he had to visualize himself with each of his choices in front of him on the table, then he picked which one made him happier. Weirdo.
He seems pretty happy about his hot beef choice.
We ate the rest of the cinnamon roll for supper. Delicious and nutritious.
Or maybe not.
