Blush Fabrics and a Maypole Quilt

THIS was a fun project!  When Dana from MadeEveryDay asked me to come up with a project for her new Blush fabric line from Art Gallery Fabric, I was freakin out - I had screen shots of a couple of her fabrics on my phone (oh heeeey rose hexies) that were on my "some day when my husband isn't looking" list of fabrics to buy.
So having the fabric practically drop out of the sky was amazing!
I knew right away what quilt pattern would be perfect for the fantastic blush fabrics: the Maypole Quilt from Suzy Quilts!
I finished up the quilt just in time to take it with me to visit my family in Iowa, so it was super convenient that my mom had just redone my room (yes I have a room at my parents house still...even thought I'm 32, married and pregnant...) and it happens to have perfect lighting for quilt picture taking!
My 12 year old nephew says I'm obsessed with quilting - he informed me of this when I commented on how awesome the lighting in his new house would be for quilt pictures.  He may be right about the obsessed thing.
I think my favorite fabric is still the rose hexies, but that backing fabric is a close second.  Really, it's hard to pick a favorite when they're all so beautiful!!

Be sure to stop by Dana's MadeEveryDay blog tomorrow for a full blog tour with tons of other fantastic makers' projects! And of course a HUGE thanks to Dana for inviting me along on her blog tour!
