I Smell Christmas...

...it's sooooo close!
I've had a few *ahem* requests to nix the cupcakes and post a few images of Christmas at the Clark's.

I can't help it I have had a cupcake problem lately...SALLY :)

Luckily, I actually did take a load of Christmas decor pictures a couple weeks ago.  So here they are!

Everyone needs a barn on their tree.  It's a fact.
So.  I graduated from college with decent grades.  So did William.  How many college graduates does it take to put up a fake Christmas tree?

Answer: if two of those are William and I, then two is not enough.

Check out the half a tree behind me.  I had that tree like that for a good ten minutes before William tried to put the next portion of the tree up, and we realized the bottom was actually the middle.  There are only three pieces to our tree, and it took us two tries to get them in the correct order.  I'm only admitting to this because I feel guilty keeping it a secret.
Thumbs up to a fake tree being smarter than me.
 And peace on Earth.
Wilberforce is concerned about the intelligence of his spouse, I can tell.
 I love pre-lit trees...until I can't figure out why a line of lights aren't lit.
 Awww...Christmas bokeh.
 Wilberforce's baby ornament.
No Christmas tree is complete without the Grinch...courtesy of Wilberforce's nephew.
Due to our insanely awesome budgets in college, our first Christmas tree had ornaments personalized by ourselves...with a glitter pen.  We kept one of them.
I found these little music note birds last year at Target.  I dig 'em.
 'Ello Christmas.
Of course, I also threw some Christmas stuff on the entry way table.  Will bought a couple old windows at a local antique warehouse for an anniversary gift for me, and I finally found a home for one of them!
I've added some battery operated lights, but haven't taken updated pictures.
I have trouble with picture frames.  The trouble starts when I get the picture frame in the spot I want it among my other home decor...and forget to change the picture.  We have many pictures of strangers in our home.

Is that weird?
Still haven't put away the "give thanks" sign I made for Thanksgiving.  Meh.
I found those gigantron candle sticks at TJ Maxx a month or two ago.  Got the whole set for $40! That's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
My little glitter stars came from Pottery Barn...after holiday sale a few years ago.
I'm tempted to throw a cupcake picture in here, just for good measure.

Don't worry, I'm resisting!
