Christmas is here!
Ok, maybe not really. The two feet of snow in the last week had me confused. My calendar was buried at the bottom of a snow drift.
What?
It's been a wonderful four day weekend of crafts. Pinterest and crafts. And baking.
William was in heaven. Not really. He watched football and hockey and ignored my crafting. Oddly, he did not ignore my baking. Hmmmm...
All the stores have Christmas stuff on the floors. My store has Christmas music playing all. day. long. Not the awesome Rat Pack Christmas music either. Cheesy Christmas music. Boo. I'm considering ear plugs while at work, but the patients might not want to discuss their unsightly rashes in their outside voices...so I better ditch the ear plugs.
Anyways, using my mad felt rosette making skilz, I made another wreath.
It cost, like, a lot to make. Like, a ton.
Like, $6.50.
My time is priceless though, right? Whatever.
I started out by making rosettes.
Then, I made some more.I thought I was finished, but I decided I needed a few more.
Rosettes, rosettes, everwhere.
I used four zillion glue sticks attaching these babies to the wreath, and only had to cut one glob of hot glue out of the carpet!
A little left over burlap ribbon, and we've got door decor!
I don't want to take all the credit. Wilberforce helped me decide where to hang it.
I had a few rosettes left over, and a $0.99 wreath hanging out in my craft basket, so I made mini wreath for the window over the kitchen sink.
He's just a little guy, but I like him.
After we had finished hanging up our rosette wreaths, I decided to rummage around the basement to find the wreath for the front door. While I was hanging up that wreath, a little sprig of berries fell off. I took it as a sign and added a little somethin' somethin' to my rosette wreath.
And there ya have it. Christmas is here - get excited!
