DIY Paper Rosettes

Is anyone sick of my pins yet?

Good, cause here's another!
Aren't these cool?  I wish I had known of Pinterest before my wedding.  I woulda DIY'd the crap outta the decor.  Of course, Mom did a pretty amazing job on her own!

Anyways, I found some sticks in my basement from back in the day, picked up a couple pieces of scrapbook paper, and a pretty pitcher for $12 at JoAnn's.

And then I threw them on the pile of crap that used to be my dining room table.
 Here's a little rosette!  Isn't he cute?

Start out with a square of paper.  Like this.
Cut it in a spiral.  You can make a wavey spiral to make the final rosette look a little more petal-like.
Now we roll.  You can start from the inside or outside.  Try one of both and decide which look you like better.  I like them both.
And you have a little flower!
 Precious little flower.
The flowers will have holes in the bottom - easy peasy to stick on a twig!
I did a few different fall-ish colors.
The marshmallow sign does not leave that bench.  Ever.  Anyone and everyone who has ever been in my house loves that sign.  As do I.

Thanks Mom :)
While we're at it, lets just take a peek at some of my other fall decorations.

The entryway table:
Little halloween blocks I found at the local home decorating store.
I wrapped some burlap ribbon around white pillar candles from HobLob and hot glued them.
Don't mind the strange kids in the picture frame - haven't had a chance to put my own picture in there yet.
And that's all for now.

Off to bed to dream of Pinterest.
