Yeah, this little guy was Raid-ed by Will...him and his two friends. So long, suckas!!
Will is holding him with two fingers...awesome macro lens, no?
I think that bee is giving the camera the stink-eye.
I'm not even sure he's a bee. Maybe he's a wasp? Who cares, he's gross.

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for!!!!
William's nursery/greenhouse finds!!!!:
This is where I realized my little bumblebee friend was taking a sip of Will's beer and needed to be dealt with immediately.
Pretty sweet, right? Will thinks farmers are geniuses for making such comfortable seats. Will sits on his tractor seat while he watches the food on the grill now.
Will bought tractor seat chairs, and they were good.

Our backyard is full of things growing. We'll see if this lasts during the hot, dry weather coming up.
Top left: Lettuce. Lettuce pray. HA.
Top right: A bazillion kinds of herbs...thyme, sage, chives, oregano, basil, dill, cilantro, rosemary, mint...we now have fresh herbs on almost everything. William hates cilantro with a passion, so of course I like to sneak a piece or two of it on his taco salad, just to keep life interesting.
Middle: Beets! They're growing on William. It took me twenty years to learn to like beets...I figure maybe we can have beets for Will's 44th birthday party and he'll actually like them!
Lower left: Three packets of wildflower seeds. Our raised garden didn't do so well last year, so I figured I'd spend a couple bucks and toss some wildflower seeds on it and see how they do. They're growing!
Lower right: Brussel sprouts. Will makes delicious brussel sprouts with bacon and srirachi sauce...mmmmm tasty. We threw a whole packet of brussel sprout seeds in a little pot...maybe time to thin those babies out? I'm not even sure if they grow above or below the soil. Brussel sprouts, I would guess that they will sprout above the soil? Who knows, maybe leprechauns sneak into the garden at night and leave a bowl of brussel sprouts next to the plants?
I don't want to lie to you, we didn't grow the herbs and lettuce from seeds. But next year we might...I like seeing our little garden babies sprout out of the ground. Maybe I'll try the farmering thing again next year and steal a couple soybean seeds from Dad, just so I can say I grow soybeans.
Can you eat those soybeans? I've never heard of "field soybeans" and "sweet soybeans"...the way we grow "field corn" and "sweet corn".
Hmm...might have to google that. I could just ask Dad, but he would just call me a yuppie for wanting to eat soybeans. Crazy old man :)

My hanging pot. Yay.

Just heard on the news that a Colorado Springs Walgreen's pharmacy was held up...robbed of their drugs by an eye-patch wearing pirate.
No joke.
Arrrrghhh...give me all yer booty...and yer percs.
Some people's kids.
