For Mom and Dad, the Masters is the Super Bowl of golf. Derrik and Holly got married during Masters weekend. Six weeks before the wedding, William was preparing for Operation Mobile Masters. He downloaded apps on my iPad to get live Masters reporting, and even asked for a slingbox for his birthday so he could watch it on the laptop.
Watching golf makes me poke my eyeballs out. Listening to golf on the radio makes me fill my ear holes with centipedes. Listening to three hours of golf on satellite radio while driving across the nothingness of Eastern Utah makes me homicidal.
William is lucky to be alive.
