I suck at growing things. The girls at work mocked me and my lousy garden last year. I killed everything. Their mockage (new word) was even worse since I'm a farm kid.
I tried growing sweet corn in a pot. It didn't work.
So this year, I'm debating on whether to grow a garden. It's a lot of work, and I'm obviously less than stellar at gardening.
We have a little palm tree looking thing in our kitchen - it's been there for a year. I think I've watered it three times. I was sick of how crappy it looked, so I was hoping it would die. Then Mom came to visit and brought it back to life by cutting all the dead leaves off. It looks nice now.
I still haven't watered it since.
William waters it. Maybe he should have a garden.
This is my orchid. We got it at the super duper new King Sooper's in town. The tag says I only have to put three ice cubes on the dirt once a week. I think I can do that.
We'll see.
