Ta Dah!!

The office is (almost) finished!!

 Ignore the totes in the corner...I still don't have a place to put my good dishes from our wedding...and they're entirely too heavy to carry to the basement.

 Beautiful bookshelf!

 Linen pinboard I made for $25 - or I could have bought one from Pottery Barn for $149...just a bulletin board, a yard or two of linen, and ta-dah!

So the office is pretty much finished!  I still need to finish my other bookshelf, which will be put next to the other one, but after spending a good portion of my 6-day weekend working on them, I'm taking a week or three off.  I still plan to build a new desk, but the one I have will do for now.

Will and I spent the day relaxing.  AND he bought my birthday present, AND he let me open it, AND it is awesome! 

It's a new camera lens.  A macro lens.  It makes little things B I G. 

 This is the smile on my sock monkey key chain.  The sock monkey is as big as my index finger.  His smile is very little...but here it looks BIG. 

 These are little paper stars made of music note paper...the big ones are the size of a quarter, the little ones the size of a dime. 

My eyeball.  Willm took this...its not as magnified as it could be, but its really tough to get a good macro shot when both the camera taker and the subject are moving (even the tiniest bit!).  We thought it was neat because you can see the reflection of our backyard/sunset in my eyeball!

We're going to see a college friend and his little monster baby, so I'll maybe take some pics tomorrow to post! Nite!
