Let It Snow!...on my furniture??

We FINALLY woke up to snow on the ground!  No white Christmas for us, but at least it was a white New Year.

No fire-pit nights until Spring!

Willm scooped the driveway before I went to work; he was cold.


On a different note, I finished building this bar at the beginning of December for our work Christmas party, but I didn't have a great home for it until I took the Christmas tree down a few nights ago.  I like it more every time I look at it, and I like it even more when I think of the $1400 I saved by building it myself rather than ordering it from Pottery Barn. Yay.

    Hey Amanda,

    Love your blog. I must say that I'm a little jealous of your tiny size considering all of the yummy concoctions you make in your kitchen! I was wondering if you'd mind sharing a few things with me - I'm also working on building some furniture from Ana's amazing site! What process did you use for staining the cocktail bench? How many coats? Also, what is the color of the walls in that room... I love it! Thanks for sharing!
