Children.

We don't have any kids in the house, but that doesn't mean I don't have to deal with a child every day.  I made cookies the other day while on the phone with Beanie; while she yelled at her kids to be quiet or quit hitting each other, I was yelling at my kid to stop sticking his finger in the batter or to leave the cooling cookies alone. Then he whined that his tummy hurt because he ate too many cookies. Children.

Today he pestered me to let him open a Christmas present until I finally broke down and threw a gift at him.

He looks guilty...

Whoops, snuck another decoration pic in here :)

A new shirt! And he thought it was gonna be new clubs...

"Can I open another one??"

Wilbur has to work on Christmas Eve, so we'll wait until Christmas morning to open our gifts.  We have a nice pile of presents to open under the tree; most are little things that we got for each other, but some are from Mom and Dad!  I have instructions to call Mom after I open them to remind her what she got us.  Normally, I would blame her memory on age, but she hasn't been able to remember what gifts she bought since I was in preschool...I'll blame it on her hair color instead :)

I need to stop at ACE tomorrow to get the bar clamps I need to start my next woodworking project - Merry Christmas from Dad!
